2-Day Beginner Sculpting Class

• Wednesday – September 2, 2026

• Thursday – September 3, 2026

 

Class Hours:​

• Wednesday: 9 AM – 7 PM CST

• Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM CST

Lunch:

• 1 hour

Class Fee:

$500.00

• Pay in full or reserve your seat with a $100 non-refundable deposit.

• When you pay the deposit, you may pay the $400 in payments.

• Payment plans available through July 31, 2026.

Age Requirement:

• Adults

• No prior sculpting experience required.

Class Size:

• Limited to a maximum of 12 students. This class will sell out quickly.

Class Project Options:

1. 16" Baby Head with 1/4 Limbs – Learn the foundations of sculpting while creating a detailed 16" baby head with partial limbs.

2. 12" Full-Body Mini – Prefer a smaller project? Sculpt a complete 12" full-body mini instead.

Both options are beginner-friendly and designed to help you build essential sculpting skills!

 

What You’ll Learn:

Over two full days of hands-on learning, you’ll dive into Marita Winters’ sculpting process, creating the head, hands, feet, and each delicate facial feature piece by piece. Along the way, you’ll discover how newborn proportions work, giving you the foundation to sculpt a truly realistic baby.

You will learn:​

• How to sculpt the head, hands, feet, ears, nose, mouth, and eyes

• Proper newborn proportions

• Techniques for shaping realistic features

• How to refine and add detail to your sculpt

• Tips for achieving lifelike balance and expression

You will leave with the fundamentals, the confidence to begin your sculpting journey, and the skills that will help you improve a little more with every new sculpt.

All materials are provided, except:

Please bring:

• If you have a favorite sculpting tool or clay, you’re welcome to bring it along! This is completely optional but often helpful.

• You can bring a photo of a sleeping baby that you might like to sculpt.
