2-Day Reborn Air-Dry Painting Class

$650.00

• Pay in full or reserve your seat with a $200 non-refundable deposit.

• When you pay the deposit, you may pay the remaining balance in payments.

Bring your reborn dolls to life with depth, realism, and artistry in this hands-on air-dry painting class with prototype artist Christine Woolley. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this class will guide you step by step through the process of creating lifelike skin tones, delicate veining, soft blushing, and realistic details using air-dry paints.

You’ll learn professional techniques for color blending and layering that give your dolls a realistic skin tone with beautiful depth and dimension. Whether you’re starting your first reborn or refining your craft, this class offers expert guidance, creative inspiration, and a supportive environment to help you achieve stunning results.

You will learn:​​

• How to prepare and prime your kit for optimum adherence of air-dry paint

• How to mix paint to the correct consistency

• How to apply air-dry paint in thin layers to achieve transparent skin tones

• How to create veining, creasing, and mottling

• How to paint realistic-looking nails

• How to paint eyebrows

• How to properly seal your work

• How to apply texture

• How to matte your doll for a beautiful, soft finish

Students Need to Bring:

• A vinyl doll kit (preferably JD Doll vinyl) between 16” and 19.”
  (Please no kits larger than 19” so we can finish on time.)

• A personal table lamp (battery-operated if possible)

• Magnifying glasses, if needed
